I got rid of my hemorrhoid but why do i still catch symptoms?

I had a hemorrhoid on my left side of my butt and i feel strain. i bought a cream over the internet that worked to get rid of the lump in my skin but i still feel strain on my butt and the constant pain has caused me to become fatigued… Is this normal? How can i clarify this to a doctor without him checking and seeing there is no more hemorrhoid there but there is still a touch incorrect with me?
