Question by Sam Dott: How lengthy it takes external hemorrhoid lump to expire?
So I got an external hemorrhoid pro the 1st time in my life a couple of weeks ago. The pain stopped right after a week, save pro the lump was nonetheless there. It has now been five weeks and the lump has shrunk in mass and i do not even really feel it anymore(no discomfort or itch), save pro it is nonetheless there. So will it perfectly expire? or is it permanent? and will I want to seek medical attention?
I am a 20 year ancient male and not positive how critical this is
I researched that the lump really should expire in 2-6 weeks, and it has been 5 weeks now…
Thank you, any aid is appreciated

Once a hemorrhoid appears, it is there forever. You will go through flare ups and then, when keeping your stools soft, they will shrink down and not cause any tribulations. Constipation (the passage of tough, dried out stool) is what causes these so the goal is to change your diet and your day after day fill up intake so that you keep the stools soft. You can go to WebMd.com and type in hemorrhoid and read up on vex of this condition and then go to the constant website and type in constipation and it will yield you dietary suggestions to keep your stools soft. This needs no medical attention unless they get huge and start bleeding continuously. Then they call for removed surgically which is a very painful procedure.
